Schönberg, March 2023
Sesotec GmbH in Schönberg, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of equipment and systems for foreign object detection and material sorting, is strengthening its management team: Stefan Feldmeier will assume the position of Chief Operation Officer (COO) with effect from 1 January 2023.
Stefan Feldmeier, who has already been with Sesotec since September 2018 as Group Director Operations, brings more than 25 years of experience in the operational management of plastics and metal companies in a national and international environment as well as in special plant engineering. He has in-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, quality, change and innovation management.
In his new role as COO, where he is responsible for the entire value chain from engineering to shipping, he will continue to develop Sesotec’s production strategy into an agile supply chain organisation and drive the internationalisation of production. Building and factory planning, with the current focus on the new building in the Schönberg ”Am Kreuzbach” industrial park, as well as the further development of the existing site, will be a particular focus. As COO, Feldmeier will lay the foundations for future growth.
Stefan Feldmeier says: ”I am very proud to be part of the Sesotec team and to contribute to the company’s success. I look forward to the challenges that come with this new position. I would like to thank the management and the entire Sesotec team for their confidence and support: together we will continue to improve our performance and achieve our goal of being the best choice for our customers”.
Sesotec CEO Joachim Schulz is also pleased with the new management trio: ”Stefan Feldmeier has worked hard in recent years to optimise our manufacturing processes, always keeping the workforce in mind. He enjoys the full confidence of all sides. I am therefore very pleased that he is strengthening the management team and that we will be leading the company into the future together. We wish Stefan Feldmeier continued success and good luck.
