At pre-corona level: Successful trade fair appearance by Sesotec
Film sorter VARISORT+ FILM and glass sorting system SPEKTRUM+ as well as AI evaluation methods presented
Schönberg, June 2024
Sesotec, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of equipment and systems for foreign body detection, material sorting and analysis, is extremely positive about this year’s IFAT trade fair in Munich. The trade fair appearance reached the pre-corona level and was the best stage for the presentation of sorting systems with new, innovative features.
The Sesotec VARISORT+ FILM film sorter and the SPEKTRUM+ glass sorting system from KRS Recycling Systems were the highlights of the trade fair. Both solutions met with great interest and were intensively examined by trade visitors and potential customers from all over the world. VARISORT+ FILM impressed with innovations such as a laminar air flow and an aerodynamically designed separator housing, while the KRS Glassorter SPEKTRUM+ impressed with its new C-C sensor technology, which can be used to distinguish black glass or very dark glass from CSP (ceramic/stone/porcelain) even better. Sesotec also presented the “OBJECT-AI” and “NIR-AI” evaluation methods, which are based on artificial intelligence.
Other highlights at IFAT included international delegations who came to find out about Sesotec’s technological developments and a visit from the Bavarian State Secretary for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, Tobias Gotthardt. He was given a live demonstration of the innovative equipment from Sesotec and KRS Recycling Systems for sorting plastic film and broken glass.
Michael Perl, Group Director Sales Division Sorting Recycling, is very satisfied with the course and outcome of the trade fair: “IFAT 2024 has shown that Sesotec is one of the innovation leaders in the recycling industry. The intensive technical discussions and positive feedback from trade fair visitors prove the importance and potential of our technological solutions for a functioning circular economy and a sustainable future.”
