THE MB-LS170 SCREENING BUCKET FOR THE EXPLOITATION OF SCRAP
THE MB-LS170 SCREENING BUCKET FOR THE EXPLOITATION OF SCRAP
The use of waste from industrial processes and their exploitation and re-use in the carrying out of new projects is nowadays a regular practice in many countries, above all with a view to the (necessary) creation of a model of sustainable development, founded on the reduction in the consumption of natural resources and the minimising of waste production. An important testimony regarding the exploitation of waste comes from a German company specialised in the recycling of metals and slag from blast furnaces, which has chosen one of the most recent MB Crusher products for their operations, the MB-LS170 screening bucket. The extreme versatility of the MB Crusher screening bucket allows the company to screen steel residue from the periodical cleaning of the furnace. The various-sized residues are thus cleaned of residue dust and rendered suitable for re-sale as good-quality steel. However, the capacities of the MB-LS170 screening bucket don’t stop here. It is also

Innovative. Precise. For challenging conditions and material New NivoRadar® 3000
Innovative. Precise. For challenging conditions and material
New NivoRadar® 3000 The robust stainless steel construction makes the continuous non-contact level measurement NivoRadar® NR 3000 extremely suitable for all kinds of industrial applications. The unit operates at a high frequency of 78 GHz. This delivers a very small beam angle of 4° which eliminates any signal interference at the flange but allows for optimum reflection of the bulk solids material. You can measure distances up to 100 meters and the sensor can be used especially in very fine solids due to the high sensitivity. The NivoRadar® offers a flat flange version and also an aiming flange version. Using the adjustable aiming flange, the radar is perfectly aligned since the probe can be fixed to the desired point. In other words, the angle of the beam can be set to a specific point; for example, at the outlet of the silo. The lens antenna is highly resistant to material deposits and offers a self-clean function for extremely sticky solids using an air flush connection.

Product highlight 2016: the new vibrating rod probe Mononivo Many applications – One solution
Product highlight 2016: the new vibrating rod probe Mononivo
Many applications – One solution It has often been the case that a single rod probe, using the vibrating principle and having universal design capabilities, is required. This measurement principle has become well-established on the international market. Due to its high compatibility (even with the standard version), it is much favored by plant operators. UWT has responded to the wishes of their customers with a new product series that uses this vibration measurement principle in the form of a single rod probe called Mononivo® MN 4000. The new vibrating rod Mononivo® MN 4000 is now available. The Mononivo® MN 4000 vibrating rod • is a point level detector • that can be used in silos and tanks • as a full, demand or empty detector Electronically stimulated piezos cause the single rod probe to vibrate. When the material covers the sensor, this causes the vibration to stop and a voltage change is caused within the piezo elements. This is electronically registered and causes the output

Efficient silo management for smooth process flow The electromechanical Lot system Nivobob® 4000 is now equipped with a Modbus function
Efficient silo management for smooth process flow
The electromechanical Lot system Nivobob® 4000 is now equipped with a Modbus function UWT GmbH has developed an economical and practical solution in terms of centralized content level monitoring; especially suited for the storage processes within industrial plants. First the maintenance-free electromechanical lot system Nivobob® is mounted on each silo within the plant for continuous level monitoring. The plumb bob systems of the economical Nivobob® 4000 series are now shipped with a Modbus interface as standard which allows for quick and easy connection of the units to the visualization system. The operation of the installed sensor devices is made absolutely transparent, as the operating status and all diagnostic parameters, taken during the communication of the units, are recorded in the Modbus register. Parameters such as content level, operating time, pending replacement intervals, sensor status and much more are available to the operator. For level control, diagnostics etc. the license-free visualization software Nivotec® is used: The information

Dustfree shredding of electronic components Major order with dedusting units completed
Dustfree shredding of electronic components
Major order with dedusting units completed Disused electronic components often contain valuable metals like gold and platinum or copper. Recyling of these reusable materials is proven to be worthwhile for economic reasons, but also for environmental reasons. For example, 200 grams of gold can be recovered from one ton of old mobile phones. To obtain five grams of gold from a mine, one ton of ore needs to be moved. A central role in recycling processes have shredding plants. They break down the disposed devices into smallest parts. Filter plants are downstream these processes so that no substances hazardous to health are emitted to air. Because of the explosive shredding dust, the filters have to be designed for low residual dust content as well as with appropriate explosion protection measures. Infastaub has completed a major order for such a task. In detail six pocket filters type Infa-Mat were manufactured. They have a total air volume of 26,000 m³/h. The dust is collected at the receiving hopper of
