Trade fairs impress with an explosive programme

At their next appearance on the 9th and 10th of October, the Solids & Recycling-Technik trade fairs in Dortmund will once again present an impressive overall programme.
The event will highlight all facets of bulk solids, process and recycling technologies and will once again focus on highly topical issues. ”In autumn, we will be focusing on digitalisation, artificial intelligence, sustainability and process automation, in line with the current pressure in the industry,” emphasises Anna Lena Sandmann, head of event at Easyfairs Deutschland GmbH.
Accordingly, the interest is correspondingly high, and due to the high demand, the exhibition space will expand from three to four halls this autumn. It now provides now enough space for the exhibits of the 390 renowned exhibitors and newcomers. Just like the planned topical tours, where visitors can find information on selected topics, the supporting program also reflects the key themes of the fair. In valuable expert lectures, professionals from industry, research, and academia will inform about important aspects and trends in the sectors. Many renowned companies have already announced their visit this autumn. For example, representatives from Goldbeck GmbH, Remondis GmbH & Co. KG, and Pfeifer & Langen GmbH & Co. KG are expected in Dortmund.

Exciting presentations and live explosions

As in previous events, respected expert partners will be leading the Solution and InnovationCenter programme and the key topics that have been announced so far give a foretaste of the high-calibre presentations. For example, Dr. Dirk Textor, Chairman of Graf Holding GmbH in Teningen, is organising the lecture panel on recyclate usage quotas in various sectors of the economy and Thomas Fischer, speaker from the German Association for Secondary Raw Materials and Waste Disposal and Managing Director of Quality Assurance for Secondary Building Materials, is accompanying the building materials recycling panel. Keynote speakers will enrich the programme on the ImpulsCenter stage and provide inspiration on overarching topics such as employee retention, energy shortages, climate change and artificial intelligence. Of course, fire and explosion protection will not be neglected either. A panel of speakers will cover this important specialist area and premium partner REMBE GmbH Safety+Control will give a vivid demonstration of how much explosive material is involved in handling powders. There will be a total of three bangs on the outdoor exhibition grounds on the 9th and 10th of October 2024 when top cyclist Robert Förstemann takes to the pedals for the first time and cult commentator Eddy Mielke hosts the explosive live spectacle.

”Bulk Masters” hackathon

Preparations for the ”Bulk Masters” hackathon are also entering the hot phase and Zeppelin Systems GmbH is the first challenge provider. ”As a global plant manufacturer, the hackathon is a wonderful opportunity for us to leave the beaten track and find new, innovative solutions,” says Hans Schneider, the company’s Vice President for Technology & Innovation, looking forward to the parallel event. All in all, Solids & Recycling-Technik Dortmund promises an explosive overall package that is well worth a visit.

Solids & Recycling-Technik Dortmund trade fairs expand and open an additional hall for 9 and 10 October 2024 The interest in exhibition space at the Solids & Recycling-Technik trade fairs in Dortmund shows no sign of abating. The previously planned halls are already fully booked for the upcoming event on 9 and 10 October 2024. That’s why the organiser Easyfairs has quickly gone one better and added an additional hall. Additional lecture stages, a central business bar and the start-up area are located in the new hall and will also ensure a high level of knowledge transfer and optimal networking opportunities. Despite the larger total area, the distances between the neighbouring halls remain short and all highlights are easy to reach. ”Even now, almost ten months before the start of the trade fair, more than ten per cent more exhibitors than at the last event have secured a place at the next Solids & Recycling-Technik Dortmund,” says Anna Lena Sandmann, organiser at Easy¬fairs Deutschland GmbH, who is delighted with the healthy growth.
