Working Together to Be Best SkidWeigh ED4: More than Just Weighing One of North Americas largest paperboard packaging suppliers was already using SkidWeigh ED2’s and ED3’s in a number of manufacturing and recycling applications for several years with success. The accuracy, simplicity and industrial construct of the scales held up in their tougher environment and provided load weight information on the go without interruption to their busy processes. However with regards to their recycling program, in an effort to minimize waste and reduce error, they decided that they would need to record specific metrics along side the weight of the load to be recycled. Understanding what production line, what shift, and type of paperboard commodity would allow them to refine their process. With the current systems that information would need to be collected manually with a clipboard by the operator of the lift truck. Understanding that this manual process would be cumbersome for the operator, create productivity

Cooperation of Borealis and Lindner Borealis Is Committed to Upcycling and Counts on Cooperations and Lindner’s Technology
Cooperation of Borealis and Lindner
Borealis Is Committed to Upcycling and Counts on Cooperations and Lindner’s Technology With their acquisition of the plastics recycler mtm plastics, Borealis, a leading chemicals and plastics group, became the first plastics manufacturer to work towards a circular economy. The group has been consistent in its efforts to drive plastics circularity and is developing regranulates of the highest quality. The result is sophisticated and innovative products jointly created with partners from the waste management and plastics industries. Upon meeting Günter Stephan, Head of Mechanical Recycling at Borealis Circular Economy Solutions, it is immediately clear that the company has truly understood the most pressing issue of our age. In 2016 Borealis became the first big plastics industry player to acquire a plastics recycling company, mtm plastics. Two years later, the Austrian company Ecoplast, another plastics recovery company, joined the Borealis Group. The group is doing everything in its power to advance the circular economy. ‘We believe plastic is a fantastic

Update of Lindner's Shredder Model Micromat Lindner Showcased the Brand-New 1500 Model at the K show
Update of Lindner's Shredder Model Micromat
Lindner Showcased the Brand-New 1500 Model at the K show The Lindner Micromat is a top seller in the plastics shredding market. At K 2019 the next generation has been presented along with an additional model and a new and improved universal cutting system. The shredder has been displayed live and in colour in the outside area. Further applications and added features Based on Lindner’s tried-and-tested technology, the Micromat series has been further optimised to meet current market demands in the plastics industry. And with the 1500 size – meaning a rotor length of 1500 mm – a new entry-level model from the Micromat series has been created. But that’s not all. The most innovative feature is without doubt the new Multiplex cutting system. Thanks to the three-dimensional arrangement of the rotor knives, this exceptional system can shred almost any plastic. As a result of the knives actively pulling in the material, output can realistically be increased by some 40 percent on average compared to previous technologies.

Lindner Atlas Day 2019 Recap Lindner’s Next Generation Atlas Attracted Considerable International Interest
Lindner Atlas Day 2019 Recap
Lindner’s Next Generation Atlas Attracted Considerable International Interest The Austrian specialist in shredding technology and system solutions for waste processing invited guests to the Lindner Atlas Day on the scenic Lake Wörthersee on 1 October 2019 to present the eponymous next generation twin-shaft primary shredder for automated 24/7 operation. ‘At the moment, everything is heading towards a circular economy. Our diverse, international audience is proof that this trend is not only emerging in Europe, but all over the globe”, explains Stefan Scheiflinger-Ehrenwerth, Head of Product Management at Lindner Recyclingtech. These developments call for new technologies that will make it possible to cope with the ever-growing amounts of waste and to process them efficiently. To achieve this goal, Lindner’s design team focused on successfully combining the following three aspects in the Atlas shredder: ideal output size and chunkiness for subsequent sorting processes with high energy efficiency and 24/7 operation. 24/7 operation combined
